History

Tokio Marine HCC – MIS Group (HCC Medical Insurance Services, HCCMIS®) was established in 1998 in Indianapolis, IN. It was among the first to make insurance products and services available via the internet. Our customers can review coverage options, obtain quotes, purchase insurance and receive their insurance documents – all electronically, without human intervention, 24 hours a day.

In June 2015, HCC Medical® was acquired by Tokio Marine Holdings Inc. The acquisition allows Tokio Marine – HCC Medical Insurance Services Group to expand its reach in the international community. Tokio Marine HCC is a leading specialty insurance group with offices in the United States, the United Kingdom, Spain, and Ireland, transacting business in approximately 180 countries, and underwriting more than 100 classes of specialty insurance. Tokio Marine HCC products and capabilities set the standard for the industry, and many of the Company’s almost 2,500 employees are industry-leading experts.
